Can we imagine a life with no references?
No references but full of inspiration, no bump ads, only wild animals.
Our Ancestors did not know about it; they lived it. There was “no past” recorded to look at, and there was no “HOW TO”? There were only present, the future and no clues. The past was in their memories and being recorded by them inside of the caves.
In the past, there was no such thing as reference was only nature (wild), the life seen and lived by that same person/tribe. They had what they were, their very nature, reference was their intimacy.
Nature continues to be our primary reference, and it is all about point of view. We look into our personal and societal past, the lives of billions of people connected communicating and building up a source of more life to express, all those sensations which grow inside of us until the need to expel arrives. The results of our inspiration inspire other people.
Now what we call reference they probably were calling life, or probably:
_ ANTELOPE!
We gave the name Reference; we named everything so it would be possible for those things to exist.
We have enriched and impoverished the world too, established language and place to stay; we learned how to build, how to conserve and how to destroy. We are what we are because we have a reference. We are the consequences of the past, referencing our lives by history and creating more for future generations.
Reference and Tradition are siblings. One needs another to be explained, to be understandable, is a reunion of experience and knowledge gained, generated and organised during long periods of years. It is the starting point.
